# Little Bee Speech > Little Bee Speech builds software for assessing and treating speech sound disorders on iPad, iPhone, and Apple silicon Mac. Its Little Bee Hive membership bundles Articulation Station Hive for therapy and Articulation Test Center Hive for assessment, aimed at speech-language pathologists in schools, clinics, and private practice, with a lower-cost parent tier and two standalone App Store apps for Spanish articulation and narrative language. Little Bee Speech was founded by Heidi Hanks, M.S. CCC-SLP, who has worked as a speech-language pathologist since 2000 and opened her private practice in 2005. She launched the Mommy Speech Therapy blog in 2007 and has been building software with the Little Bee Speech team since 2011. The company is based in Utah and named for the Beehive State. Memberships and pricing: Little Bee Hive Pro includes Articulation Station Hive and Articulation Test Center Hive. Little Bee Hive Parent includes Articulation Station Hive. Both bill monthly or annually, save 33 percent when paid annually, and start with a free 14-day trial. Prices are shown in USD and converted at checkout. Group licensing, custom quotes, and a university program are available for clinics, school districts, organizations, and SLP degree programs. Two apps are sold separately on the App Store and are not part of the Hive membership: Articulation Station Pro Español and Little Stories Pro. Philosophy: the company holds that mobile devices have changed how therapy is delivered, but that the most effective therapy still comes from personal interaction with a therapist or parent.
