What Little Bee Hive members are saying…

“Give Yourself the Gift of Time! Gone are the days of fumbling through card decks to sort targets by positions and phonological process while clients wait impatiently. Articulation Station Hive has solved this and many of the other time consuming problems! I use this app religiously in my private practice for discriminating minimal pairs; engaging syllable/ word/ phrase/ sentence/ story level stimuli; recording clients; collecting data; and motor movement practicing via syllable sliders. It not only benefits me, but also engages clients of all ages because it’s incredibly interactive. I love that I can spend more time practicing and less time prepping, organizing, setting up, and packing away materials.”

“This is my 24th year as an SLP and this app totally made me better overnight. The new features of being able to target vowels, minimal pairs, and sounds at the syllable level make planning and providing therapy so much easier! I also love the ability to choose words, improvements to the matching game, and the variety of sentences. The aspect I love the most is the amazing data graphs. I have students in kindergarten through sixth grade ask to see their data. When I go to write progress reports, all I need is my iPad and I am able to quickly see the data along with any notes I have taken. This has made me a better therapist and saved me time. I can’t wait to see what additional features they add.”

“Best money I have spent in 5 years of being an independent practitioner. It has saved me so much time planning, printing, cutting, laminating and lugging so much stuff from school to school. I love the fact that I can target sounds with syllables and go right up to sentences and stories, even incorporating conversion and questioning. Having it all there at a touch of a button means I get to spend more time with each child and can still incorporate some other games into our sessions too. The kids love it as they think they are in control! Love it, thank you!”

“Articulation Station Hive has everything I never knew I was missing! It offers the ability to work at every level, from isolation to conversation. The animated pictures representing various sounds are engaging and memorable (and did I mention they are animated?!?) At the syllable level, sliders give you the opportunity to walk your students through the sound blending process. New pictures and target words have been added as well as a fun new spinner sentences. One of my favorite new features is the conversation level. Beautiful picture scenes are offered with a ton of clickable pictures to give additional conversation starters. Another choice at the conversational level is an array of interesting questions such as “would you rather?” and “have you ever?” sets. For your students with phonological processes, this app has you covered because there are a ton of minimal pairs. For score reporting, there are new graph features. And as if all of this is not enough, Hive throws in a fun little extra and offers you the ability to change the app background with seasonal and holiday backgrounds. If you treat kids (older or younger) with speech sound disorders, this app is a must have. I wouldn’t SLP without it!”

“I have been using Articulation Station Hive for a few months now and I must say that I love the new updates and additions that have been added! The minimal pairs are a HUGE hit with my kiddos. They also really enjoy the isolation and syllable features, including the hand and picture cues as well as the sliders and spinners. We love customizing the home screen theme to fit all major holidays and fun occasions. They also love using the picture scenes for language goals as well as conversational activities for carryover and generalization. We LOVE the Hive! 10/10 from us!”
